I visited Jammu in the month of September and the year 2021. We were three friends and we were going to visit Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. First we booked a train ticket from IRCTC in sleeper class and the tickets were in the waiting period at the time of booking. But somehow our tickets got confirmed on the day of journey. We boarded our train from Durgapur and it took around 35hrs to reach Jammu. When we reached there, we realized that our mobile phones don’t have the network. We came to know that only postpaid networks work there and we have to buy a postpaid sim. But we did not buy a new sim. Thanks to my friends. But soon we realized that we should have bought the sim as it was working on the hills as well.
